Wakeboarding Tips: Choosing the Right Rope
An important wakeboarding tip is choosing the right wakeboarding rope is important in learning how to wakeboard and for safety purposes as well as you go through the beginner stages of the sport.
Wakeboard ropes vary in length anywhere from 60-70′. There are wakeboard ropes that are one length or you can find wakeboard ropes that can be shortened or lengthened depending on your preference or skill level and some wakeboard ropes have elasticity while others are tighter.
Shorter wakeboard ropes are best for people who are in the beginning stages of wakeboarding. Shorter ropes will give much better control and make it a lot easier to be pulled out of the water.
The best way to use a rope is to attach it to a tower on a boat rather than just tie it to the end of the boat. Towers are best for giving you that control you need when learning how to wakeboard as well as more control when performing stunts, which you will hopefully be doing real soon.
Just remember to be smart and know your limitations when learning to wakeboard. Practice safety and I promise over time you’ll get better. Keep chekcking for more wakeboarding tips
